Banana Beach Resort is a "Fun in the Sun" haven located on the beach area of Ambergris Caye known as Mar De Tumbo. This is one of the best natural beach areas of the island. There is a natural break in the reef about a quarter mile off shore that allows ocean waves to flow in more freely, creating deeper water and a sandier sea bed. BB Resort is also located about half a mile south of San Pedro Town. To reach the center of town takes about a twenty minute walk along the beach or a ten minute bicycle ride. If you're really pressed for time, a five minute ride on a golf cart, the vehicle of choice on the island, might be the ticket. Fortunately, golf cart rental is available right at the hotel. We have a total of 64 rooms and can accommodate up to 150 people.Banana Beach Resort is a full service beachfront resort, known for its reputation as a 4-star resort with excellent staff and service, with accommodations ranging from standard hotel rooms to four-bedroom suites with living rooms, and full kitchens.
