Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the Florida west coast island of Anna Maria, the White Sands Beach Resort is the perfect tropical island vacation getaway with miles of white, sandy walking beaches & blue-green water.

We offer charming one & two bedroom Florida island style apartments, studios, cottages & motel rooms. More than just a motel hotel, All rooms have fully equipped kitchens, have 42 inch LCD TV's , playstation2 and DVD/VCR at our Florida beach resort.

While on vacation at the White Sands you can enjoy a gulf front heated pool, shuffleboard court, picnic areas and bar-b-q grills. Nearby are tennis courts, island beach shops, golf courses & a number of award winning restaurants like Beach Bistro and Sand Bar.

We have Twenty-one Florida resort units on the gulf with kitchen and phone, & heated pool on the beach. No pets. Our island resort is a great Florida vacation destination near Bradenton, Longboat Key and Sarasota. Similar to Sanibel island, AMI Florida is located on the west coast of Florida just south of Tampa and is a great island vacation place for family vacations and Honeymoon vacations.

We offer a quiet relaxing, tropical island feel with all the creature comforts of home. Our Florida island beach resort is located on the west coast of Florida in the city of Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island Florida directly on the beach and on the Gulf of Mexico. You can see much of Florida's natural wildlife on our beaches, including Sea Turtles, and the gentle Manatee. Island Beachcombers can find Florida Sea Shells while walking and swimming along the beach. Beautiful sunsets, a perfect spot for a family friendly vacation or a quiet island honeymoon.

With and abundance of sunshine, sugar white sandy beaches, warm tropical climate and water temperature averaging in the 80's. People from all over the world have come and decided to make Anna Maria Island, Florida, and the White Sands Beach Resort their Island home-away-from-home. We have one & two bedroom apartment, motel rooms, hotel rooms and island resort style rooms and cottages. Booking Information
Deposits: Deposit Requirements/ Rental Payment: Deposit Should be equal to ( 50% of room price), 2 nights stay or $300 dollars per week the Greater of the three. Cash / Check Discount available $5 a night from standard rate if the entire stay is paid by check or cash when you arrive. Monthly reservations require $300 dollar deposit When making reservation and a 50% rental payment 90 days prior to occupancy. ALL ROOMS ARE NOW Non-Smoking. Smoking is allow outside. There will be a $450 charge and removal for smoking, pets or parties in rooms. Please let us know if you are a smoker so we can make other arrangements for you or you can smoke outside if you would like to rent these rooms. Cancellation Policy: The time factor is critical in vacation rentals, and your reservation will hold this rental off the market for a period of time. Deposit will be refunded with a 55 day advanced written notice by U.S. Mail Only, Less a $55.00 service charge and There is an additional cancelation fee of 5% of Deposit, if a credit card was used. Any changes in arrival or departure dates less than the 55 day notice, resulting in loss of revenue may forfeit your deposit!! Rental payments are non-refundable unless the entire rental period is re-booked. If you fail to cancel 3 days before arrival date or fail to show up you will be billed for the entire stay whether you use the room or not. We cannot offer refunds for late check ins, early departures, man made disasters or for ACTS OF GOD such as inclement weather, rain, wind, red tide and non mandatory evacuation. We recommend rental insurance for these reasons

Follow Exit Signs from airport toward 275S Follow 275S toward St. Petersburg – Proceed over the Howard Franklin Bridge Continue through St. Petersburg on 275S Follow signs for Bradenton to Skyway Bridge After bridge follow signs to Rte 19S Bradenton/Palmetto Follow 19S toward Business 41S – (Palmetto sign only) Stay on 41S thru Palmetto & over the Manatee River Bridge At third traffic light (Manatee Ave- SR 64) turn RIGHT – 10 miles to island Continue thru city, over causeway, over the island bridge Go straight thru the traffic light; yield right at the next traffic light Follow this road 789N for ½ mile to drive straight thru next traffic light Continue to 65th st., Turn left

Sarasota/ Bradenton Airport: Direction From Sarasota area to White Sands Beach Resort on Anna Maria Island Florida

Exit airport on 41 North – right toward Bradenton Turn left on 53rd all the way to the intersection at Cortez Rd Go straight across where road will become 75th St. Proceed to intersection at Manatee Ave – SR 64 – Turn Left Over causeway, over the island bridge Go straight thru the first traffic light; yield right at the next traffic light Follow this road 789N for ½ mile: Drive straight thru next traffic light Continue to 65th st., Turn left

Orlando Airport:

Direction From the Orlando area to White Sands Beach Resort on Anna Maria Island Florida

Go West towards Tampa on I4 to 75 south to Exit 220 (Old 42) – Turn right onto SR64 SR64 becomes Manatee Ave; 18 miles to Anna Maria Island Continue thru city, over causeway, over the island bridge Go straight thru the traffic light; yield right at the next traffic light Follow this road 789N for ½ mile; Drive straight thru next traffic light Continue to 65th st., Turn left

Ft. Myers / Naples / Miami / Ft. Lauderdale:

Take Alligator Alley to I75 North (Miami & Ft.
